Hyderabad: Krishna Yedula, the Hyderabad’s well known IT professional and former secretary general of Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) was honoured with honorary doctorate in humanity by George Washington University of Peace Florida, USA. Krishna is currently the co-chair for CSR and sustainability, for Telangana and AP chapters at ASSOCHAM. World Peace Conference 2024 was organized in joint collaboration by the international commission for cultural and diplomatic relations, george washington university of peace and royal academy.
In a ceremony held at Bangalore, Krishna Yedula was presented the honorary doctorate for his outstanding contributions to society especially during covid pandemic in Telangana State as well as his unwavering commitment to fostering humanity, social service and bringing about a positive impact in society.
In his acceptance speech, Krishna Yedula expressed his gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in creating a world marked by harmony and mutual respect. He reiterated the need for continued collaboration and innovation to address the challenges for a better tomorrow to protect people and planet.
The conferral ceremony was attended by faculty members, dignitaries, and peers, who celebrated Krishna Yedula’s tireless efforts in ensuring safety measures, supply of food, medicines, blood and plasma and vaccination drives and multiple other initiatives by collaborating efficiently with communities and NGOs in the State of Telangana, India especially during his tenure as Secretary General at SCSC.
He has demonstrated an exceptional dedication towards public service by volunteering and playing the role of catalyst in crisis management and has consistently exemplified the principles of empathy, compassion, and humanitarianism. His contributions in enabling business continuity for it, pharma, manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality and realty sectors during Covid pandemic were highly appreciated by the industry and govt of Telangana.
